As with the Huawei P40 series, Honor decided to offer three readings of the top devices. In addition to the “younger” Honor 30, she presented its Pro version, as well as the Honor 30 Pro + - as a concentrate of maximum characteristics and it is positioned as an ultimatum “national flagship”.
Honor 30 Pro + is designed to get into the elite of camera phones, so the smartphone was the most successful from the point of view of the camera. In the best traditions of the Huawei brand, DxOMark experts have already tested the new product, who gave it an average score of 128. This was enough to take the second line of the DxO rating, second only to the Huawei P40 Pro.
This time, the “take” rating was decided not by the number of sensors, but by their skill. Therefore, there are only three sensors on the back, but which ones: 50 megapixels (Sony IMX700, f / 1.9, 1 / 1.28ʺ, 2.44 microns) + 8 megapixels (telephoto lens, 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid, 50 -fold digital) + 16MP (wide-angle).
Among the distinguishing features of the Plus version is the presence of stereo speakers, a 5000 mAh battery and support for 27-watt wireless charging (53% in half an hour).
In the case of the Honor 30 Pro, the main camera received a similar telephoto module and a wide-angle sensor, but the main one was replaced by a 40 megapixel Sony IMX600 with aperture f / 1.8. And the battery capacity was 4000 mAh.
The Honor 30 Pro and Honor 30 Pro + received 6.57-inch OLED panels curved on the sides and FullHD + (2340 × 1080 pixels), but the Plus version has advantages over the usual “firmware” - the refresh rate is increased to 90 Hz and the touch response layer up to 180 Hz. Both smartphones are based on the Kirin 990, have 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB flash drive. Proshka also received a version with 128 GB of read-only memory, while the Honor 30 Pro + has a modification with 12 GB of RAM.
All other Specifications of the models are duplicated. New items equipped with fast 40-watt wired charging, liquid cooling system, support for Wi-Fi 6, NFC, 5G, GPS, fingerprints and Android 10 operating system with Magic UI 3.1.1 add-on. Both smartphones received dual front cameras of 32 megapixels + 8 megapixels (wide angle). The devices weigh 190 grams, and the thickness of the case was 8.38 mm.
In China, smartphones will go on sale on April 21. The Honor 30 Pro can be purchased for $ 566 in the 8/128 GB version and $ 623 will have to be paid for the variation with 8/256 GB of memory. Honor 30 Pro + is available in two versions with 8/256 GB and 12/256 GB, which are priced at $ 708 and $ 779, respectively.
