List Of  NATIONAL SYMBOLS OF PAKISTAN

 

NATIONAL FLAG OF PAKISTAN 

Amir-ud-Din-Kidwal designed the national flag of Pakistan on 11th August 1947. It was approved on 11th August 1947 in the constituent assembly.  It has an elegant design. Both colors have separate importance. A green portion in the flag represents the Muslims. While the white portion represents the minorities living in Pakistan. Crescent and star are designed on the flag. 

 

 

NATIONAL ANTHEM OF PAKISTAN 

The beginning national anthem of Pakistan was written by Ghulam Ahmed Ali chagla in 1949. Anthem was written by Hafeez Jalindhri become the favorite anthem of Pakistan. On 13th August 1954, it was the first time broadcasted on radio Pakistan. On 16th August 1954 national anthem was announced in assembly. However, the Government of Pakistan officially announced the country’s national anthem in the assembly on 16th August 1954. 

 

 

NATIONAL HEROES OF PAKISTAN 

National Heroes of Pakistan mean the founders of Pakistan whom we called as The Father and The Mother of Pakistan. So The Father of Pakistan is Quaid-e-Azam whom we say as Baba-e-Quam. Although the Jinnah doesn’t start his career as a politician. He was a lawyer by profession. He joined the Muslim league in 1913 and serve it till 14th August 1947. Quaid-e-Azam was the 1st governor-general of Pakistan. He died on 11th September 1948 due to a dangerous disease known as lung cancer or tuberculosis. 

Fatima Jinnah the Mother of Pakistan. She was the younger sister of Quaid-e-Azam. Also known as Madr-e-Millat. She was a BDS doctor. She also took part in politics. She died on 9th July 1967 at the age of 73 years. 

 

 

NATIONAL MOSQUE OF PAKISTAN 

Faisal Mosque is the national mosque of Pakistan. This mosque is located in the capital city of Islamabad. It was designed by Turkish architect (Vedat Dalokay). Its name is given on the name of the king of Saudi Arabia. This mosque consists of four long beautiful minarets having a height of 90 meters. It was completed in 1986. The total covered area of this mosque is 5000 square meters. It has a space of 74000 people. 2 lacs people can say a prayer in the ground.

 

 

NATIONAL LIBRARY OF PAKISTAN 

The inauguration of the National Library of Pakistan was done in 1993 in Constitution Avenue Islamabad. It has a capacity of 500 readers. It has a total of 15 rooms for research. This library is a great place for students and scholars.

 

 

NATIONAL DRESS OF PAKISTAN 

Every nation has some national dress which symbolizes their culture. Pakistan has also its national dress which is known as Shalwar Kameez. This beautiful dress symbolizes Pakistan’s beautiful culture. Both men and women wear shalwar kameez with some variations. Shalwar and kameez are made up of cotton and lawn fabrics.
